25th October 2009
Windsurfing: felixstowe fluyders
Wind Direction: wsw
Wind Stength: F-4/5
Surf / Sea State: nice to wavy
Air Temperature: ok
Sea Temperature: ok
Weather: ok
Max Speed: 28.0 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 15.0 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

A warm sunny day at the fluyders beach on an incoming tide with the wind tanking WSW. Rog was on the water 10.30 with a 6.4 / expolsion combo and blasted. The guage was showing not enough for 6.5M for me and I started rigging 7.5. Rog returned and said he was overpowred so shot out on 6.6 / rocket 69 combo.
Several others turned up for what was an epic days as the sea was well behaved with flat and wavy water. Swainy held me off on his quick egg shell fanatic, which he damaged again with another boom collision. The wind eased for lunch then came back hard and the sea was big on the outsude going out. Some sailors went to 6.0 whilst the smaller guys were all on 5.5's.
knackered when wind dropped at 3.30 for the end of a mega day
